The Legal Science Department covers the different legal disciplines taught at our university. The areas of knowledge covered by this Department are taught mainly in the Law Degree, although to some extent it also participates in Political Science and Public Administration, Journalism, Labour Relations and Human Resources.

Likewise, the teaching staff collaborates in organizing and teaching different Masters and postgraduate courses at UMH and together with other Universities.

The Department research focuses on the development of innovative and competitive projects in relation to questions belonging to the legal field, participating in national and international research groups. Comparative law studies are an important part of the academic staff’s scientific background.
